The Garden Concert Series is an exciting pop-up performance venue in Redondo Beach. GCS features an intimate chamber concert performed by the Constellation Quartet with a selection of popular, film, and world music, and a new special guest each month. In April we welcome Greg Johnson.

About Constellation Quartet
Constellation Quartet is committed to bringing live music into a variety of communities and contemporizing the role of a string quartet in the 21st century. Their debut EP, "The Venice Sessions" (feat Cliff Beach), was released at the end of 2021 and was named Number 2 on the Ark of Music's "Top 10 Albums of 2021." CQ highly values collaboration with other artists and debuted their first live music video with Abby Posner through the Bluegrass Situation.

About Greg Johnson
Johnson first discovered his zeal for music while growing up in Auckland, New Zealand, on an eccentric blend of punk rock, Simon and Garfunkel and classical music. He spent his early youth kicking around in various post punk bands before accepting a job at his local college radio station, BFM. With a passion for performance and music in his heart, Johnson joined the late night club band Bluespeak, singing 40’s and 50’s style drinking songs and playing the trumpet for a living.
His first NZ Hit single “Isabelle” is now a Kiwi Classic and was followed by up with albums “Vine Street Stories” and “Seabreeze Motel”. Johnson released his 11th Studio Album “Tilt Your Interior” in 2021 and a “virtual Box Set” of all his recordings the same year.

THE Village Garden is a unique venue and we've carefully configured the sections to be satisfying both visually and auditorily. Seating in the garden is a mixture of 6 feet distanced from others and closer seating (per CA guidelines, June 15th). More info can be found by reading through the information on each section.
