The Garden Concert Series is an exciting new performance venue in Redondo Beach. GCS features an intimate chamber concert performed by the Constellation Quartet with a selection of popular, film, and world music, and a new special guest each month. In July we welcome Abby Posner.

Abby Posner has been a working musician in Los Angeles for the past 17 years. She is best known for her ability to play nearly any instrument that she can lay her hands on, twisting genres, and pushing the genre-boundaries from folk, roots, rock to pop, just to name a few. If you have seen Abby perform live, you know she can play a mean lead-blues guitar solo, or throw down a complex Earl Scruggs banjo riff. You also may have spotted her playing drums, mandolin, or bass while using her looping pedal. In addition to her versatility, she puts passion and soul into everything she plays.
This CalArts music graduate has composed music for commercials/TV, films, and radio shows all over the globe (including Old Fashioned, The Fosters, This American Life Radio, The Art of More, and Last Tango in Halifax just to name a few). She also has music placed all over China, Sweden, The UK, and Australia. Posner appeared in two episodes of GLEE on season four playing banjo and guitar, and in 2018 she appeared in the Freeform TV show Famous In Love in playing banjo on the Conan O’brien Stage.
Posner has scored the music for four films including: Award winning short animation, Elizabeth Sees, Across Land Across Sea, Through Their Eyes, and the high-praised Documentary Lady Buds. Posner was a primary role playing banjo and singing in a Bank Of America commercial for the Ken Burn’s new PBS Country Music Documentary in 2019, while performing and touring with her Americana folk band Abby and The Myth. Her song Blind Spots recently won best song for the Topanga Fiddle Festival - Give Me Shelter in Place Award in 2020.

A FEW THINGS

THE Village Garden is a unique venue and we've carefully configured the sections to be satisfying both visually and auditorily. Seating in the garden is a mixture of 6 feet distanced from others and closer seating (per CA guidelines, June 15th). More info can be found by reading through the "Seating Sections" below.

IF the number of people in your party doesn't match the number of tickets available in a section
- 1. WE'RE sorry, we know. When we're able to expand and offer my seating flexilbility safely, you'll be the first to know.
- 2. DUE to Covid regulations we have to pre-sell all tickets and because the venue is so intimate, we only have a max number of people we're able to fit for an optimal experience. If available, you can either buy a larger section and spread out, or try again for next month.

SEATING SECTIONS

Section 1 - 2 seats at $30/ticket ($60 total)

Scoop up this perfect two person table in the lower part of the garden on the left. You're nestled between trees and plants and on the same side as the performance area.

Section 2 - 2 seats at $40/ticket ($80 total)

SILVER VIP/A - 2 seats at $75/ticket ($150 total)

Silver VIP Benefit section with wine included and small charcuterie box. Proceeds benefit CAP Initiative, a local Southbay non-profit so you can feel even little bit better about your ticket purchase.

Two bench seats on the upper level, perfect if you want the closest view of the performers (from a safe distance, of course). No backrests.
